Lighting Design Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist an Australian lighting design team in generating lighting calculations and technical documentation for commercial projects utilizing DIALux Evo and AutoCAD.

• Prepare and modify lighting calculation models and layouts.

• Create precise technical reports and supporting documentation.

• Review architectural and electrical plans thoroughly.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards and project specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in producing lighting calculations for commercial projects in Australia.

• Knowledge of the Australian National Construction Code (NCC).

• Advanced skills in DIALux Evo along with solid proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and electrical plans.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent written English communication skills.

• Capability to work independently and present technical inquiries when clarification is needed.

• Experience in supporting Australian electrical contractors, consultants, or lighting wholesalers is preferred.

• Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, AGi32, Relux, and Photometric Toolbox software is advantageous.

• Experience working remotely during Australian business hours is preferred.
