Lighting Control Design Engineer – Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate architectural, lighting, and electrical designs

• Annotate plans and guide CAD teams in producing construction documentation

• Create load schedules, panel schedules, keypad schedules, risers, and control narratives

• Review and authorize drawing packages before construction begins

• Establish and uphold engineering standards for all lighting projects

• Provide support to field teams during installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes

• Aid in fixture selection, compatibility assessment, and control strategies

• Prepare and review project submittals

• Program Lutron Lighting Systems (Homeworks QSX, RadioRa3)

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in luxury residential lighting control

• Certification in Lutron HomeWorks

• Proficient in generating lighting control documentation and submittals

• Demonstrated capability to resolve complex technical problems remotely

• Familiarity with Ketra lighting systems (Preferred)

• Advanced programming experience with HomeWorks (Preferred)

• Willingness to periodically visit project sites within the New York metropolitan area (Preferred)
