
Lighting and Specialty ECM Fulfillment Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the North America fulfillment specialist for lighting-centric projects and other non-core ECMs.
• Assist regional teams in strategizing and implementing projects, focusing on fulfillment quality, constructability, consistency, safety, and field success.
• Visit significant, intricate, or high-risk project sites to help pinpoint issues, suggest corrective measures, and aid in resolution.
• Generate field reports detailing findings, action items, and recommendations.
• Mentor and assist field project managers to enhance execution, communication, safety awareness, and problem-solving in the field.
• Provide both remote and on-site support to regional teams as project demands dictate.
• Aid regions in bolstering fulfillment readiness, execution planning, and field coordination on complex projects.
• Collaborate with development and preconstruction teams to facilitate project planning and execution readiness.
• Support development activities related to lighting and non-core ECM opportunities.
• Contribute to the drafting and review of RFPs for contractors and vendors.
• Engage in contractor walks, scope assessments, and bid leveling processes.
• Assist regions in crafting clear, comprehensive, and actionable scopes of work.
• Offer practical insights on project logistics, sequencing, constructability, labor strategies, and delivery methods for large projects.
• Aid in logistical solutions for large and complex projects to enhance execution and minimize project risks.
• Assist regions in identifying, assessing, and engaging qualified contractors for lighting and non-core ECM tasks.
• Foster the development of a robust contractor network capable of delivering consistent results across North America.
• Help evaluate contractor qualifications, capabilities, safety records, capacity, and suitability for project requirements.
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with contractors and trade partners to enhance collaboration, performance, and accountability.
• Support contractor onboarding expectations, scope alignment, and standards for field execution.
• Develop, refine, and implement standardized procedures for the fulfillment aspect of the business, focusing on lighting and non-core ECM delivery.
• Ensure consistency in how projects are scoped, transitioned, executed, and supported across regions.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and opportunities to eliminate waste in workflows and project delivery methods.
• Assist in establishing repeatable methods, tools, and best practices that enhance safety, quality, speed, and scalability.
• Advocate for disciplined execution practices that enhance project outcomes and mitigate fulfillment risks.
• Foster a strong safety culture in all facets of project fulfillment and field support.
• Aid regions and contractors in upholding safe work practices and reinforcing jobsite safety standards.
• Help identify safety risks during site visits, contractor evaluations, scope development, and project planning activities.
• Provide field observations and recommendations aimed at improving safe execution on active projects.
• Ensure safety considerations are integrated into fulfillment planning, contractor engagement, logistics reviews, and standard work development.
• Utilize technology platforms such as Procore, Snapcount, and other project delivery tools to enhance coordination, visibility, and execution.
• Collaborate closely with development, preconstruction, fulfillment, regional operations, and field teams.
• Help bridge strategy and execution by translating project intent into actionable field support and fulfillment practices.
• Promote effective communication and alignment among internal teams, contractors, and regional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, energy management, business, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in lighting projects, energy solutions, construction support, fulfillment, or similar operational roles.
• In-depth working knowledge of lighting systems, retrofit practices, controls coordination considerations, and challenges in field execution.
• Familiarity with additional non-core ECMs such as building envelope, water-related measures, transformers, and other similar project types.
• Experience assisting in construction or energy project delivery in a multi-site or geographically distributed environment.
• Experience in contractor identification, qualification, RFP development, bid leveling, and scope creation.
• Background in developing standard work, process improvements, or operational best practices.
• Proficiency with project management and construction technology tools like Procore and Snapcount.
• Proven commitment to safety and experience in supporting safe field execution practices.
• Willingness to travel across North America as necessary to assist with project and regional requirements.
