This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as the custodian of employment terms and agreements, providing support to Senior Specialists and Experts on intricate projects, which include the implementation and advisory on employment law modifications stemming from updates to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Create, customize, and manage all employee lifecycle documents with precision and meticulous attention for both internal and external employees of Remote throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, the issuance of Employment agreement amendments, Employment documents, Letters, and Employment Forms as required by Remote’s global HR team.
• Offer advice on employment legislation and deliver guidance on both fundamental and intricate legal interpretations as delineated in employment agreements, acting as a trusted consultant to clients and employees.
• Collaborate with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle activities, encompassing payroll, legal counsel, governmental entities, and trade unions.
• Support Senior Specialists in managing critical initiatives that affect numerous employees across various countries, while assisting in HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment regulations.
• Develop and revise global internal documentation related to Contracts Management, reflecting legislative changes, and referenced by all internal teams. Proactively address internal and external inquiries on all employment matters in partnership with Lifecycle’s internal stakeholders.
• Actively seek opportunities for and contribute to process enhancements, automation, product development, and the overall experience of customers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle process.
• Safeguard and maintain employee data and confidential information, following established protocols, and ensuring the highest level of professionalism and discretion when handling and accessing such information.
• Demonstrate substantial experience with a robust background in managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance, while providing comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
• Exhibit exceptional communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, with the capability to confidently navigate difficult conversations to a positive resolution, often amidst conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
• Possess advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level, with knowledge of additional languages considered an asset.
• Show a keen aptitude and enthusiasm for innovating and streamlining processes, consistently identifying and executing opportunities for automation and endorsing best practices.
• Display operational efficiency, with an understanding of the significance of thorough documentation and data integrity.
• Be tech-savvy, capable of effectively collaborating asynchronously using various tools, and adapting to new and evolving systems.
• Able to work independently and synergistically within an international team in a dynamic, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
• Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
