This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +7 more states.
• Define and take ownership of the technical roadmap for our lifecycle tooling ecosystem (e.g., Braze), ensuring comprehensive data stability, governance, and forward-thinking documentation.
• Lead collaborative efforts with Lifecycle Marketing, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics to establish and uphold a source of truth for lifecycle data models (events, attributes, segments, composite scores, propensity models).
• Enhance operational efficiency by designing AI-driven automation workflows and internal tools to reduce repetitive production overhead.
• Partner with lifecycle marketers to systematize journey designs and briefs into robust, testable flows in Braze (or similar platforms).
• Develop and sustain scalable templates, modular components, and reusable logic.
• Operationalize A/B and multivariate tests from start to finish, creating guidelines for audience configuration, randomization, holdouts, and measurement-ready instrumentation.
• Manage reporting requirements for lifecycle operations (e.g., journey health, delivery and error monitoring, experiment status dashboards).
• Over 8 years of extensive experience in lifecycle / CRM operations.
• A proven history of architectural ownership: You have successfully scaled CRM/MarTech platforms (like Braze) for millions of active users, preferably within a subscription or membership-based model.
• Practical experience with a marketing automation platform configuring personalized journeys.
• Strong grasp of experiment design (control vs test, holdouts, key metrics, avoiding bias), best practices, and practical limitations in production systems.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with data and engineering teams on integrations, advanced data models, and troubleshooting.
• Proven capability to manage multiple initiatives and cross-functional partners simultaneously with effective prioritization and communication.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills; comfortable taking ownership of issues from start to finish until they are resolved.
• Technical expertise in HTML and templating logic (e.g., Liquid or similar); capable of reading, writing, and debugging dynamic content and personalization rules.
