• About the Role: The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for executing personalized, end-to-end marketing journeys that engage B2B2C and B2B audiences, from initial contact through to long-term retention and advocacy. This position brings campaigns to life during pivotal moments, such as new customer implementations, ongoing B2C engagement, and events, ensuring that each interaction is timely, relevant, and cohesive.
• In this role, you will design and enhance multi-channel programs across email, SMS, and in-app experiences using tools like Customer.io and HubSpot. You will leverage data, segmentation, and automation to foster meaningful connections. As a vital partner across Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Clinical teams, you will help create seamless, patient-first experiences that align with business objectives, including engagement and outcomes. Additionally, you will advocate for innovation by utilizing AI and emerging tools to scale impact while ensuring all communications adhere to HIPAA standards and healthcare marketing best practices.
• Specific Responsibilities:
• - Develop and implement lifecycle marketing strategies for B2B2C and B2B audiences, supporting every phase of the customer journey from awareness and lead nurturing to engagement, member activation, retention, and advocacy.
• - Direct lifecycle marketing initiatives for new customer launches, seasonal campaigns, product introductions, webinars, events, and integrated marketing efforts by crafting communication plans that enhance engagement before, during, and after each campaign.
• - Construct and refine sophisticated lifecycle journeys within Customer.io and HubSpot, encompassing email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, lead nurturing campaigns, behavioral triggers, audience segmentation, and tailored communications.
• - Act as the internal authority on Customer.io platform capabilities, establishing operational standards and training team members.
• - Create scalable lifecycle programs that enhance customer experiences while improving efficiency within the marketing organization.
• - Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to define behavioral events, customer segments, integrations, and campaign triggers that facilitate more personalized marketing.
• - Work in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Clinical Operations, and the broader Marketing team to ensure campaigns and customer communications align with business priorities, including annual campaigns for enterprise-level clients, delivering a seamless customer experience.
• - Track campaign and lifecycle performance, identifying opportunities to enhance customer journeys, reduce friction, and boost marketing effectiveness through data-driven optimization. This includes overseeing all email and SMS campaigns, managing the build calendar, sequencing, establishing cadence, A/B testing, tracking performance across both channels, and mapping in customer details, preferences, and contract considerations.
• - Utilize AI and emerging marketing technologies to accelerate campaign development, enhance personalization, and increase the speed and quality of execution.
• - Ensure that all lifecycle communications comply with HIPAA regulations and healthcare marketing best practices while maintaining a thoughtful, customer-first approach.
• - 5–8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or customer marketing.
• - Experience in healthcare marketing is essential.
• - Experience in a startup or high-growth company is required.
• - Expert-level proficiency in building campaigns and customer journeys using Customer.io.
• - Strong experience with HubSpot for marketing automation, lead nurturing, segmentation, and campaign execution.
• - Experience managing lifecycle marketing for diverse audiences, including both B2B and consumer or member engagement.
• - Strong analytical and technical skills, capable of interpreting customer behavior and campaign performance to inform marketing strategy.
• - Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• - Experience collaborating across functions with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Data teams.
• - Curiosity, initiative, and a builder's mindset. You are comfortable working independently, adapting swiftly, and contributing to the development of new processes as the company evolves.
• - Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance marketing workflows, content development, campaign optimization, and operational efficiency.
