This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Facilitate growth by utilizing technical sales expertise and managing customer relationships.
• Offer advanced technical guidance while promoting a cutting-edge life science product portfolio to academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial clientele.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams and customers to present effective value propositions.
• Execute product demonstrations.
• Deliver comprehensive application support.
• Assist customers in enhancing their research and manufacturing capabilities, contributing to the mission of creating a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
• A Master's degree along with 2 years of technical sales experience or equivalent laboratory/industry experience.
• Preferred areas of study include Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Professional certifications pertinent to specific product areas (such as Medical Laboratory Technology) may be necessary for certain roles.
• Extensive technical expertise in relevant scientific applications and workflows.
• Strong presentation and consultation abilities for providing technical product demonstrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and related technical software.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time to customer locations and events.
• Experience in developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships.
• Comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
• Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently while also supporting team objectives.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
