Líder Técnico, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Define and safeguard the technical architecture of the project.

• Lead the technical team (Backend, Mobile, and QA) in day-to-day operations.

• Make technical decisions and resolve blockers.

• Collaborate with the facilitator on sprint planning and risk management.

• Ensure adherence to best development practices: Code Reviews, Testing, and Documentation.

• Serve as the technical point of contact for the client when required.

• Uphold technical quality and consistency in the implemented solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Backend development (preferably Java).

• More than 2 years of experience in Tech Lead or Software Architect roles.

• Experience in formally or informally leading technical teams.

• Familiarity with Kafka, events, and distributed architectures.

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (Backend, Mobile, and QA).

• Background in working with agile methodologies in high-demand environments.

• Ability to make technical decisions and manage risks.

• Desirable:

• Experience in Fintech projects or payment solutions.

• Conversational English skills.

• Knowledge of Mobile development (iOS and Android) for cross-technical reviews.

• Previous experience interacting with clients in technical leadership roles.
