Líder AppSec, DevSecOps – OWASP, CI/CD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Ensure that all applications are developed, deployed, and maintained with high security standards by proactively identifying and assisting in the remediation of vulnerabilities.

• Lead the implementation of code analysis tools and ensure their adoption in CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify and manage vulnerabilities in applications, containers, and dependencies.

• Define and promote security policies in development (authentication, encryption, data handling, etc.).

• Conduct security assessments based on standards such as OWASP Top 10.

• Integrate automated security controls that prevent risks before deployment.

• Validate secure configurations in cloud environments.

• Advocate for best practices in secure development and train technical teams.

• Lead the response to security incidents and encourage continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Only candidates with residency and work authorization in Mexico (mandatory).

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (completed).

• Over 2 years of proven experience in cybersecurity applied to software development.

• More than 2 years of experience applying OWASP Top 10 and secure code analysis.

• At least 2 years of experience working with SSDLC models and DevSecOps practices.

• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS is a plus).

• Analytical mindset with a focus on risk prevention.

• Previous experience in managing authentication and sessions.
