This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Prepare, submit, and oversee initial and renewal licensing applications across various states and regulatory agencies, specifically including California and Texas.
• Maintain current licensing records, documentation, and status tracking systems.
• Monitor expiration dates and proactively manage renewals to avoid lapses in licensure.
• Ensure that all licensing files adhere to standards of completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Act as a liaison with licensing boards and regulatory agencies, including authorities in CA and TX.
• Address requests for information, deficiency notices, and follow-up inquiries.
• Stay updated on changes in licensing requirements and regulations, particularly in California and Texas, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Maintain precise data within internal systems and tracking tools.
• Produce reports on license status, upcoming renewals, and compliance risks.
• Identify discrepancies or gaps and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with Credentialing, Provider Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment.
• Assist in onboarding processes that require licensure verification or application submission.
• Support audits, internal reviews, and client reporting obligations.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the Legal/Compliance department, including managing information requests from business stakeholders and supporting departmental initiatives, documentation, and coordination needs.
• Suggest process enhancements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Aid in the standardization of documentation and tracking procedures.
• Utilize technology and systems to enhance workflow management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in licensing, credentialing, compliance, or administrative operations.
• Practical experience managing licensing processes in California and/or Texas, including familiarity with state-specific regulatory requirements and submission procedures.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated environments is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Working knowledge of regulatory or licensing processes (multi-state experience is preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
