This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all facets of agency and staff insurance licensing.
• Collaborate with applicants and state agencies to facilitate prompt and effective license acquisition and renewal.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
• Review and submit new and renewal license applications, as well as amendments, to the Departments of Insurance for individuals and agencies.
• Maintain a 90-day license expiration list and collect completed renewal forms from staff for processing ahead of license expiration.
• Keep various licensing information up to date and create reports and checklists utilizing databases, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Assist with the analysis of reports.
• Follow up with staff to ensure Continuing Education is completed before license expiration.
• Coordinate registration for pre-licensing courses and state-administered examinations.
• Report any changes in background to the Departments of Insurance.
• Manage agency branch office registrations with the Departments of Insurance.
• Process and monitor confidential personal and corporate data.
• Handle the carrier appointment verification process.
• Address various time-sensitive requests from carriers and states.
• Investigate specific licensing issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
• Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in customer service.
• Capability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and promote teamwork.
• Capacity to manage confidential and sensitive information with care.
• Advanced research skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and SharePoint is required.
