This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages facing psychological challenges.
• Conduct interviews with individuals and families to identify issues, evaluate mental status and risk factors, collect psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy employing person-centered approaches and best practices.
• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists.
• Ensure medical records are maintained in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.
• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies while providing confidential information.
• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination.
• Offer Emergency Services coverage or support during clinical hours and be available on-call after hours and on weekends as necessary.
• Uphold licensure and participate in training sessions and seminars.
• Foster positive relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service entities.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals.
• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned.
• Master’s degree in Human Services (Required).
• One of the following North Carolina licenses is mandatory: LCSW or LCMHC.
• Certification as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) from the State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, or as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
• Counseling/Therapy experience is not a prerequisite.
• Must be a resident of North Carolina.
• Capability to provide remote/work-from-home services.
• Ability to maintain licensure as required by the licensing board.
• Willingness to attend educational trainings and seminars.
• Familiarity with current best practices in behavioral health.
• Compliance with agency policies and procedures is essential.
• Ability to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as assigned.
