Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, innovative tele-therapy to Headspace patients using a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours post-session. Note completion is included in the session fee, and additional time for notes should typically not be billed.

• Maintain a personalized database to track proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, personal details, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar current.

• Engage in regular communication with clinical leadership, promptly checking work emails and responding within 24 hours, even when not on duty.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and outside care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available to conduct at least 5 sessions per week, with the ability to increase availability as needed.

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is preferred.

• Demonstrated clinical competence in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Commitment and capability to deliver culturally responsive care.

• Willingness and ability to perform concurrent documentation, as the session rate compensates for both care delivery and note-taking.

• Confidence and readiness to incorporate advanced technology into all aspects of care.

• Comfort and proficiency with care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc. **Tech-savviness is essential.**

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection to provide Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or LCPC.

• Possession of an independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision).

• BC-TMH credential, if required by your state of licensure.
