Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough, culturally sensitive virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.

• Carry out biopsychosocial intakes that prioritize holistic care and include precise diagnostic evaluations.

• Interact with patients via our collaboration portal.

• Work in conjunction with supervisors, colleagues, and on-campus treatment providers.

• Record clinical interactions to ensure efficient care coordination.

• Collaborate with our care navigation team to assist students effectively.

• Partner with campus care teams to develop longer-term treatment strategies when needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Wisconsin. Multi-state licensure is a plus, as our operations span all 50 states.

• Have at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health environment.

• Proficient in addressing common mental health issues prevalent among college students, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

• Familiar with culturally responsive treatment and experienced in working with diverse patient populations.

• Comfortable evaluating the urgency of escalating risk situations.

• Should possess a high-quality video camera and a reliable internet connection to provide virtual care.
