This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interact with members through phone, email, and other communication channels to provide assistance with quotes, new policies, billing queries, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications.
• Establish rapport and trust by asking insightful questions, comprehending member requirements, and delivering precise solutions to reduce transfers and escalations.
• Execute insurance transactions including endorsements, cancellations, and coverage updates while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Work collaboratively with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver timely, accurate information.
• Maintain necessary certifications and actively seek opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
• Achieve performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction.
• A High School diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required (in healthcare, retail, hospitality, food, or service industries); contact center experience is a bonus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.
• Capacity to multitask across various applications while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• An Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license is mandatory.
• A typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy is required.
• A solid understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards is essential.
• Strong research and internet skills; ability to learn quickly across diverse subjects and systems.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools are necessary.
