This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Professionally manage a high volume of incoming calls, addressing account inquiries, claims, and general questions.
• Collect customer information, evaluate and meet customer needs, while educating them about products and services.
• Efficiently navigate multiple systems at once.
• Communicate effectively with pet parents both verbally and in writing.
• Resolve customer issues following one-call resolution guidelines or through an escalated process when necessary.
• Meet or surpass performance metrics set by the company and clients.
• Balance company policies with client benefits when making decisions.
• Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements.
• Complete call dispositions and document customer information as required.
• Embrace and adapt to changes within the current business environment.
• Respond to pet parent emails and proactively resolve issues.
• Listen attentively to pet parents and take prompt action to address problems.
• Must possess a property and casualty license in your state of residence.
• Willingness to release property and casualty appointments is required; there is no need to release Health or Life appointments.
• Availability to work on weekends is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in customer service or call center environments.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check is necessary.
• A dedicated workspace at home is required.
• Internet speed of 20 Mb/s for downloads and 10 Mb/s for uploads is mandatory; wireless access is not permitted.
• A demonstrated passion for excellence in treating and caring for pet parents is essential.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekends, evenings, potential holidays, and occasional overtime.
• High integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction are essential qualities.
• Must meet attendance and reliability requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player is essential.
• Wired Ethernet connection is required.
• A hard-wired broadband internet connection via DSL, cable, or fiber optic is necessary; satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot services are not acceptable.
• Candidates must provide their own headset; specific models will be discussed during the interview.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
• This position is currently 30 hours per week; despite being part-time, it still qualifies for benefits and PTO.
• Everise provides one of two 21” monitors.
