Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide Care: Perform thorough mental health assessments, create treatment plans, and ensure timely documentation that includes diagnoses, treatment plans, and session notes.

• Establish a Caseload: Maintain direct client interaction hours. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

• Documentation Oversight: Review and co-sign notes prepared by LLPCs on the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential Licensure for Clinical Practice: Candidates must possess full, unrestricted licensure in the State of Michigan.

• Advanced Educational Background: A master’s degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing treatment plans, along with maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation that includes case notes and diagnostic updates.

• Excellent Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities that enhance therapeutic effectiveness, foster collaboration, and build client trust.

• Professional Boundaries & Integrity: Proven capacity to establish and maintain stable, ethical boundaries with clients in a therapeutic environment.

• Prompt and Accurate Documentation: Routinely completes session records, service notes, and necessary documentation in a timely manner.

• Inclusive Clinical Methodology: Comfortable and confident in working with a diverse clientele across various age groups, backgrounds, and presenting challenges.

• Technological Proficiency: Skilled in everyday office tools and electronic health records (EHR); experience with Valant is advantageous!
