Finance Counselor I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound phone communications.

• Collaborate with students and contacts in alignment with SNHU's culture and brand values to further the university's mission.

• Implement financial aid, billing, and registrar policies in all student interactions.

• Assist students in formulating a financial plan for their education and reaching their graduation objectives.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to our online students via phone (80%), email (15%), and in-person interactions (over 5%).

• Record student interactions in the customer relationship management system.

• Engage in daily outbound calling initiatives as assigned.

• Collaborate with departments beyond Financial Aid, such as Admissions and Advising, to ensure a high standard of service for every student.

• Meet established expectations for monthly metrics and call evaluations.

• Background in a customer service environment with experience in crafting professional communications.

• Completion of some college credits is required.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet.

• Your home workspace should be free from distractions during work hours to ensure focus and success in this role.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in financial aid, billing, and registrar functions, ideally in a higher education setting or contact center.
