Licensed Practical Nurse, PRN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• You will deliver proficient nursing care under the direct oversight of the Registered Nurse.

• You will support the Registered Nurse in executing the care plan, assisting with the preparation, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the client care plan.

• You will aid the Registered Nurse in carrying out specialized procedures.

• You will assist in educating the client on suitable self-care methods.

• You will monitor, document, and report to the appropriate personnel regarding the general physical and mental state of clients, as well as any signs or symptoms that may indicate changes in their condition.

• Additionally, you will contribute to rehabilitation efforts by noting any irregularities in the client’s range of motion, body mechanics, or body alignment.

• You will actively engage in weekly case conferences, in-services, and staff meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must possess a current LPN license that is in good standing with the state board of nursing.

• You should have at least one year of experience as an LPN.

• Experience in home care will be given priority.

• You need to provide two references.

• You must be able to pass OIG checks, the Virginia State Police background check, and national background checks, and verify employment eligibility with the required documentation.

• A valid CPR certificate is mandatory.

• Reliable transportation, proof of valid car insurance, and a valid driver’s license are required.
