Licensed Mental Health Professional – Emotional Support Animal Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage your expertise to assess clients' mental health conditions.

• Based on your evaluation, determine if clients could benefit from having an emotional support animal.

• If appropriate, prescribe an emotional support animal based on the client’s needs.

• Ensure timely responses to client emails, aiming for a 24-hour turnaround.

• Schedule client consultations promptly, ideally within three business days.

• Issue and write emotional support animal letters for approved clients within 48 hours.

• Collaborate with the company to provide any follow-up support or documentation required by the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• A licensed healthcare professional holding at least one of the following qualifications:

• - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

• - Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or PsyD)

• - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• - Doctor of Medicine (MD)

• - Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

• - Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Experience in prescribing emotional support animal letters and understanding related regulations is preferred but not mandatory. *We’ll train the right candidate!*

• Background in conducting phone and/or virtual consultations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A positive attitude is essential.

• Comfortable with technology and able to troubleshoot computer or connectivity issues.
