Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient mental health services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment to patients of all ages.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Offer care to patients through a remote work-from-home arrangement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• A private workspace for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• History of working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.

• Competence in conducting comprehensive assessments.

• Associate Therapist/Registered Intern licensure or equivalent active licensure status.

• Willingness to manage 30 client care hours weekly, with an average of 6 clients per day.

• Background in treating patients with substance use and addiction disorders.

• Experience with chronic severe mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.
