Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Grief Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide individual and/or family counseling to clients or patients to help them overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or pursue personal development.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no improvement after 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to manage their challenges effectively.

• Create and implement treatment plans rooted in clinical expertise and knowledge, setting SMART goals collaboratively with the patient.

• Ensure that treatment plans are formulated within 72 hours of intake and are reviewed or modified every 4 weeks.

• Complete and maintain all client documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Progress notes should be prepared within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and keep all mandatory treatment records and reports organized.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health conditions by reviewing relevant client information.

• Work in collaboration with other staff to conduct clinical assessments or formulate treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care for the patient.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists as needed.

• Stay informed about advancements in the counseling field by engaging with professional literature, attending courses and seminars, or maintaining connections with other social service organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• A current and valid license to practice behavioral health in Texas, Louisiana, or Tennessee.

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in oncology.

• One year of experience in Telehealth settings.
