📋 Description

• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including MDs and Dietitians, to ensure a thorough and coordinated approach to member care.

• Employing evidence-based clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation techniques (including diaphragmatic breathing and progressive muscle relaxation), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (exploring the brain-gut connection and coping strategies for chronic illness), and gut-directed hypnotherapy.

• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to create and implement relevant and tangible objectives that assist clients in achieving significant outcomes related to their gastrointestinal conditions.

• Initiating and maintaining health records and patient interactions within the electronic health record system while adhering to company clinical protocols and related manuals.

• Engaging in professional training activities to uphold licensure and enhance knowledge.

• Participating in clinical coordination meetings with fellow team members.

• Contributing to the organization’s overall development of psychological best practices and sharing professional insights to enhance team performance and member experiences.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• An active license to practice therapy in good standing (LPC Counseling Compact only).

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation techniques that influence the brain-gut connection, and Motivational Interviewing (experience in GI-focused care is advantageous).

• Proficiency in collaborating and communicating effectively with other healthcare providers (e.g., MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, Registered Dietitians).

• Comfort and competence in utilizing standard administrative technologies (such as Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or similar), electronic charting, and telehealth platforms preferred.
