Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Welcomes patients and introduces themselves.

• Demonstrates a professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.

• Confirms patient information, medical history, medications, and validates the purpose of the visit.

• Conducts pre-surgical evaluations and diagnoses as necessary for surgical implant procedures.

• Provides assessment, diagnosis, and personalized therapy treatment to patients within the behavioral health program.

• Monitors the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

• Engages in routine and crisis counseling/interventions, and conducts suicide risk assessments as required.

• Offers referrals for additional services when needed.

• Responsible for the development of educational and counseling programs for patients.

• Ensures proper documentation of information in patients' medical records (EMR/EHR).

• Protects patient information and maintains confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.

• Upholds a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and adhering to standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations.

• Practices safety measures including, but not limited to, infection control and proper lifting techniques.

• Collaborates with team members by assisting others willingly and communicating in a professional manner.

• Works in coordination with clinical and other staff members to provide services to patients.

• Keeps knowledge current by engaging in educational opportunities.

• Supports and safeguards the practice by following professional standards, policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.

• Enhances the practice's reputation by taking responsibility for completing new and varied requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job performance.

• Operates standard office equipment efficiently.

• Complies with Advanced Pain Care’s policies and procedures.

• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work; a License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• At least one year of experience is preferred.
