Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Accept referrals and maintain a caseload of no less than 15 clinical hours weekly.

• Provide individual and/or family counseling to assist clients with dependencies, life adjustments, or transitions.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress after 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to address their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans informed by clinical expertise and knowledge, establishing SMART goals with clients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours following intake and revise or adjust them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and manage documentation related to clients, including diagnostic records, progress notes, treatment records, and reports.

• Finalize progress notes within 48 hours after each session.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental health conditions through review of client information.

• Collaborate with staff on clinical evaluations or treatment strategies within 2 days of commencing care.

• Refer clients, patients, or their families to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Stay informed about advancements in counseling by engaging with professional literature, attending courses and seminars, and networking with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling role.

• A current and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas.

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare settings, preferably in oncology.

• One year of experience in Telehealth environments (preferred).
