Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Pediatric Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive intake evaluations for children, teenagers, and families; recognize presenting issues, risk factors, and mental health disorders; and utilize DSM-5 criteria to formulate diagnostic impressions.

• Provide structured therapeutic interventions aimed at emotional regulation, anxiety, and other challenges; adapt treatment strategies based on assessment outcomes and ongoing evaluations to accommodate each member’s individual requirements.

• Create a nurturing environment for families, educate them on treatment methodologies, and engage them in care planning to effectively support the progress of the child or adolescent.

• Engage in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings, contribute to collaborative treatment planning, and maintain regular communication with the team regarding members’ progress.

• Conduct telehealth sessions following best practices, ensure member confidentiality and security, and promptly resolve technical issues to enhance member experience.

• Thoroughly document all interactions in a timely manner; update care plans as required; participate in quality improvement initiatives, and comply with telehealth, privacy, and quality standards.

• Implement trauma-informed practices and developmental considerations throughout treatment, ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic environment. EMDR training is preferred for trauma-focused interventions.

⛳️ Requirements

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an APA-accredited program.

• Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral internship.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• PSYPACT Eligible or PSYPACT Certified with an E-Passport Certificate in the state of residence.

• Proficient in technology and comfortable providing telehealth services via video.

• Organized and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic team setting.

• Possess a warm and engaging clinical approach.

• Availability to work evening hours, with the potential for Saturday shifts.

• Utilize evidence-based methods to inspire, guide, and assist our members in achieving their goals, including CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PMT, EMDR, and others.

• Collaborate closely with other clinical team members, including psychiatrists, coaches, nurses, and behavioral case managers.

• Test innovative therapy protocols and methodologies.

• Participate in training related to our proprietary curriculum and collaborative care model.
