This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will independently manage License Advisory projects within the Microsoft ecosystem, overseeing them from initial analysis to the final presentation of results to clients.
• You will assess licensing and contract frameworks, pinpoint optimization possibilities, and formulate specific actionable recommendations.
• You will actively promote our services in the market while continually nurturing existing client relationships.
• You will proactively seek out potential new engagements with both current and prospective clients and pursue these opportunities strategically.
• You will present your findings and recommendations to key decision-makers on the client side.
• You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
• You will work closely with the Head of License Advisory, actively contributing to the ongoing development and structuring of our services.
• You will create standards, processes, and best practices in the License Advisory domain.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in license management, cloud/Microsoft services, IT consulting, procurement, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft licensing landscape, particularly in relation to on-premises, perpetual licensing, and volume licensing agreements (EA, MPSA, Open).
• A passion for collaborating closely with clients and identifying as well as cultivating new project and mandate opportunities.
• Exceptional negotiation skills when dealing with clients and partners.
• Outstanding communication abilities and a confident demeanor, particularly when interacting with demanding, decision-making stakeholders.
• High result orientation with a strong focus on achieving objectives.
• A structured and analytical approach to work, especially when navigating complex licensing and contract structures.
• A hands-on mentality and a readiness to take responsibility for implementation.
