Legal Value Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior enterprise sales directors to conduct business-level discoveries alongside firm partners and corporate legal executives.

• Convert litigation and eDiscovery challenges into models for operational efficiency and profitability.

• Design and co-author tailored strategic business cases for DISCO’s most significant and intricate transactions.

• Develop repeatable industry playbooks for law firms utilizing DISCO’s platform.

• Act as a subject-matter expert in client-facing interactions with litigation partners and general counsel.

• Provide domain expertise and client insights to enhance product development, marketing, and sales enablement.

• Proactively embrace and responsibly implement AI tools to enhance efficiency, improve outcomes, and refine work practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in litigation practice or eDiscovery specialization at an Am Law 100–200 or top-tier regional law firm.

• Extensive knowledge of litigation workflows, document review procedures, and eDiscovery cost and staffing factors.

• Capability to convert qualitative operational challenges into quantitative, defensible business cases.

• Strong executive presence and communication abilities to engage effectively with law firm partners and general counsel.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and establishing processes within a newer, evolving function.

• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, product, and marketing teams.

• Prior experience in value engineering, solutions consulting, or another business-facing enterprise-sales role is preferred.

• Experience in presenting to or advising senior stakeholders in a consultative manner is preferred.

• Familiarity with eDiscovery or legal technology platforms, including DISCO or competitor solutions, is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
