Legal Transcriber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with federal legal transcription tasks.

• Transcribe no less than 200 audio minutes each week.

• Utilize transcription, grammar, punctuation, listening, and comprehension abilities for legal audio.

• Provide details regarding transcription experience, typing speed, equipment, and availability during the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen residing within the United States.

• Hold a REAL ID or a current, valid U.S. passport.

• Willingness to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.

• Have a Windows-based computer operating on Windows 10 or a later version.

• Possess an active, up-to-date version of Microsoft Word.

• Minimum of two years of transcription experience required.

• Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute is necessary.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Showcase outstanding grammar and punctuation skills.

• Exhibit exceptional listening and comprehension abilities.

• Commit to transcribing a minimum of 200 audio minutes weekly.

• Ensure consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• Must possess a compatible USB foot pedal, such as the Infinity IN-USB-2 or IN-USB-3.
