Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs as well as related transaction documents in the realms of private equity, M&A, and financing transactions.

• Utilize client-specific playbooks and structured frameworks to ensure alignment with established client positions.

• Detect any deviations from playbook positions and apply suitable fallback language when necessary.

• Oversee workflow and manage the document queue to adhere to turnaround times and service level agreements.

• Assist in the execution of live deals across multiple concurrent transactions.

• Work collaboratively with the global legal team to guarantee consistent and high-quality service delivery.

• Engage with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and maintain service excellence.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and delivery workflows.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine and enhance AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• LLB Degree or equivalent qualification.

• 1–3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review, or similar high-volume legal settings.

• Proven experience in reviewing NDAs and/or comparable transactional agreements.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

• Preference for utilizing structured playbooks and clearly defined rules.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

• Preferred: experience in supporting private equity, M&A, capital markets, or financing transactions.

• Preferred: experience working at law firms, ALSPs, Big 4 legal teams, or in-house legal departments.
