Senior Legal Operations – Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Legal team to manage legal and AI technology projects.

• Recognize areas for enhancement and establish processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Oversee and refine contract lifecycle management tools.

• Set up workflows, contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, metadata, approval routing, reporting, user access, integrations, release testing, and training.

• Manage AI-driven contract review and redlining tools and assist with AI governance.

• Create scalable prompt libraries in partnership with the Director of Legal Operations.

• Conduct cross-departmental AI governance training and enablement sessions.

• Track and report on AI tool performance metrics, including adoption rates and time-to-value.

• Enhance contract turnaround times and implement scalable workflows.

• Develop dashboards and KPIs to promote the adoption of legal technology.

• Create and maintain reporting metrics for the legal department, such as volume, expenditure, and cycle time analysis.

• Manage legal knowledge bases, clause libraries, playbooks, SOPs, and training documentation.

• Review legal systems to identify efficiency gaps and implement automated workflow solutions.

• Work closely with IT and Security teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with systems.

• Oversee the onboarding of outside counsel, invoice review workflows, billing guideline compliance, accrual reporting, and spending analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Paralegal or legal operations certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in a legal operations or paralegal role is essential.

• A minimum of 5 years in Legal Operations or Legal Technology is required.

• Familiarity with administering CLM systems is necessary.

• Experience with AI legal technology is essential.

• Knowledge of eBilling platforms is required.

• Strong understanding of SaaS contracting is necessary.
