This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the creation of a practical risk operating model that encompasses Legal, Engineering, Privacy, Compliance, AI Governance, and various business functions.
• Evaluate the methods used to identify, classify, assess, own, govern, monitor, and document risk across the organization.
• Compile an inventory of risk terminology, categories, classifications, tags, fields, and data structures utilized in tools and business processes.
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders from Legal, Privacy, Compliance, business teams, and AI Governance.
• Detect inconsistencies, duplications, gaps, unclear ownership, and opportunities for standardization within risk processes.
• Develop an enterprise risk ontology/taxonomy that encompasses risk domains, categories, types, attributes, controls, mitigations, legal and regulatory obligations, processes, systems, owners, and supporting documentation.
• Convert the taxonomy into a practical operating model that defines roles, responsibilities, decision rights, governance structures, escalation channels, and maintenance protocols.
• Proficient experience in legal engineering, legal operations, enterprise risk management, GRC, compliance operations, or legal technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk taxonomies, ontologies, control frameworks, governance models, and structured data.
• Proven experience in mapping intricate legal, privacy, compliance, AI, or regulatory requirements into operational workflows and technology systems.
• Established capability to perform current-state assessments and design scalable future-state processes and operating models.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across Legal, Engineering, Privacy, Compliance, Product, and business domains.
• Exceptional skills in workshop facilitation, stakeholder interviewing, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
• Ability to interpret legal and risk concepts into structured fields, classifications, workflows, controls, evidence requirements, and reporting structures.
• Experience in implementing or designing workflows within GRC, legal technology, compliance, risk management, or enterprise workflow platforms.
• Strong project management capabilities, including roadmap development, stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, and executive-level communication.
