This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide guidance to clients on family law issues with compassion and professionalism.
• Create legal strategies that align with each client's objectives.
• Represent clients during mediations, negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Prepare motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
• Empower clients through education and effective communication.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to enhance processes and improve client experiences.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
• 1–5+ years of legal experience.
• Excellent legal writing and communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable access to internet and phone.
• Dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and client representation.
• Preferred: Experience in family law within Washington State.
• Preferred experience with motions practice.
• Preferred experience in mediation.
• Preferred experience in collaborative law.
• Preferred experience in trial preparation or litigation.
• Knowledge of court procedures in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
• Proficient with Clio, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Adobe, Slack, and Apple-based systems.
