Legal Fellow – Human Frontier Collective

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in impactful projects alongside partnered AI laboratories and platforms.

• Create intricate real-world legal scenarios.

• Assess model outputs for precision and alignment with regulatory standards.

• Offer specific feedback to enhance AI model performance in areas such as compliance, litigation, case law, and contract analysis.

• Be an active participant in the interdisciplinary HFC community.

• Work in collaboration with Scale’s research team to co-author technical reports and research publications.

• Complete a brief application challenge that reflects the work of HFC.

• Discuss your research experience, professional history, and alignment with the organization's mission during an interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

• JD, LLM, or currently enrolled in a prestigious 2L/3L program.

• Bar admission in any jurisdiction is strongly preferred.

• Professional experience as an Attorney/Associate, Legal Analyst, Counsel, Law Clerk, In-House Counsel, Legal Researcher, or Law Professor.

• Proven expertise in legal research.

• Knowledgeable in the analysis of regulatory frameworks.

• Proficient in constitutional law.

• Skilled in interpreting case law.

• Experienced in drafting legal briefs.

• Detail-oriented and an innovative thinker.

• Passionate about financial technology and dedicated to teamwork.

• Prior experience with AI is advantageous but not mandatory.
