Legal Counsel – Legal Ops, Legal Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing the Legal function in partnership with the Operations team while establishing structures, processes, and standards.

• Review, negotiate, and refine various agreements, such as IT services agreements, framework agreements, NDAs, data processing agreements (DPAs), and procurement and cooperation agreements.

• Offer support on data protection issues and implement the necessary requirements.

• Further develop contract templates, policies, and internal standards.

• Aid in compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives.

• Design workflows, tools, and processes for contract management, deadline tracking, and documentation.

• Coordinate interactions between Legal and business functions, including Sales.

• Automate and scale legal processes utilizing contemporary AI technologies.

• Create innovative Legal Agents for various use cases throughout the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in law or a comparable legal qualification.

• Initial relevant professional experience in areas such as contract, IT, data protection, commercial, or compliance law.

• A proactive attitude and readiness to take ownership.

• An operational mindset emphasizing structure and efficiency.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new subject areas.

• Enjoyment in collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• A structured, independent, and dependable working style.

• Openness to new technologies and an interest in modern AI systems.

• Ideally, initial experience with Legal Ops, Legal Tech, Copilot, AI applications, or process automation—or a strong interest in further development in this domain.

• Willingness to question established processes and explore new methodologies.
