Legal Counsel, Corporate & Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate strong relationships with the sales, product, engineering, operations, and other teams to identify and address legal challenges, structure intricate agreements, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with the firm's Third Party Risk Management team on the company’s contract management strategy, and create guidelines and playbooks.

• Independently manage and lead medium-to-large scale projects and initiatives.

• Serve as a significant individual contributor within the corporate and commercial sectors.

• Oversee vendor agreements and third party risk management from a legal standpoint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with specialization in financial services or corporate law.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in drafting and negotiating a diverse array of commercial and vendor agreements.

• Experience in negotiating brokerage or other trading-related contracts is advantageous.

• Proven ability to collaborate closely with business and cross-functional teams to address complex issues and develop growth strategies.

• A passion for cryptocurrency and a foundational understanding of the crypto industry along with relevant laws and regulations both in the US and globally.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to perform with moderate supervision while balancing commercial and legal considerations.
