Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will take ownership of the system (excluding the queue) for commercial contracts.

• You will negotiate deals that truly require legal expertise, engaging directly with the opposing party.

• You will work towards minimizing the number of deals that necessitate legal involvement by enhancing templates and playbooks.

• Additionally, you will gain insights into the company-wide initiatives led by Michael, including corporate, governance, employment, and strategic projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be a solicitor qualified in England & Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, and possess a current practicing certificate.

• You should have approximately 2-4 years of post-qualification experience (having qualified in March 2024 or earlier).

• Your training should have been at an organization that upheld high standards, likely a City firm, a reputable regional firm, or a tech sector specialist firm.

• You should have spent at least a year working within or in close collaboration with in-house teams at technology companies.

• You must have directly negotiated commercial contracts in the tech sector from start to finish.

• You should have experience in developing playbooks, templates, automation, and training materials.
