Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide legal assistance for corporate and commercial transactions.

• Take the lead on contract drafting and negotiations for a range of commercial agreements and intricate matters independently.

• Offer advisory support across various functions including revenue, marketing, People/HR, programs, finance, engineering, and product teams.

• Develop and expand the legal department.

• Aid in preparations for public company readiness.

• Assist in the organization and planning of board and committee meetings.

• Supervise global corporate administration initiatives, ensuring compliance with international, federal, and state regulations, managing foreign and domestic entities, and handling executive compensation and stock administration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school; must be admitted and in good standing with a state bar.

• 3-5 years of experience at a prestigious law firm, with a preference for some prior in-house experience.

• Capability to multitask, solve problems, prioritize effectively, think critically, and exercise sound judgment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to exceeding expectations to achieve results while maintaining high standards and striving for continuous improvement.

• Enthusiasm for collaborating across functions and engaging in projects that are new or unfamiliar.
