Legal Consultant – TMT, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Draft, negotiate, and structure intricate technology agreements, including AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Cloud Outsourcing, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and data licensing contracts.

• Create and enforce internal AI governance policies that address ethical AI practices, prevention of algorithmic bias, and mitigation of deepfake/synthetic media issues.

• Develop commercial terms that outline risk distribution, service level agreements (SLAs), commitments to data security, and limitations of liability for algorithmic failures.

• Conduct swift risk evaluations on product features, user interfaces, content moderation, and consumer protection measures.

• Collaborate with compliance and technical teams to ensure that automated decision-making systems align with industry-specific regulatory requirements for transparency and non-discrimination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) law, intellectual property, or data privacy.

• Experience in AI governance, data scraping, or commercial agreements related to machine learning is a plus.

• Capability to work with compliance and technical teams regarding automated decision-making systems.

• Competence in addressing regulatory requirements related to transparency and non-discrimination.

• Valid legal authorization to work.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Proof of identity required.
