This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Act as the main administrator and subject matter expert for MGC's HR technology ecosystem, which includes UKG Pro HCM, Workforce Management (WFM), Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and People Analytics.
• Take ownership of UKG-related systems, workflows, integrations, configurations, reporting, and vendor partnerships.
• Assess new UKG features and updates, recommending their adoption based on business value and operational impact.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize system workflows, security roles, reporting structures, and integrations across UKG, Aderant, ProLaw, and other relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HR leadership, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and streamlined workflows.
• Conduct regular audits of systems, data, and processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead HR technology initiatives and enhancement projects from planning through implementation, testing, training, and ongoing support.
• Monitor work in the firm's project management systems, ensuring ownership, timelines, and project visibility.
• Communicate project status, risks, obstacles, and recommendations to leadership stakeholders.
• Develop, automate, analyze, and distribute recurring metrics, dashboards, workforce analytics, and ad hoc reports.
• Utilize reporting and analytics to aid in strategic and operational decision-making.
• Manage vendor support cases until resolution and ensure thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, operational leaders, vendors, and technical teams to resolve complex system and data-related challenges.
• Create and maintain documentation, process guides, and knowledge resources.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members engaged in HR systems and technology initiatives.
• Stay updated on HR technology trends, platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience supporting HR technology platforms.
• Direct experience administering UKG Pro or similar UKG platforms.
• Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in reporting, business analytics, and Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, processes, and data-related challenges.
• Strong grasp of business process design, workflow automation, and systems integration.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a dynamic setting.
• Proven ability to handle confidential employee information with sound judgment and discretion.
