This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Update internal firm systems and external client systems within specified timeframes.

• Sort, scan, categorize, label, digitally file, and properly organize legal documents.

• Complete items in the assigned work queue within the designated timelines.

• Understand and retain fundamental legal concepts and terminology that influence the ability to produce accurate work products.

• Assist in preparing various necessary items for court appearances.

• Review incoming documents and distribute them to the appropriate parties.

• Communicate in a professional manner through various platforms: phone, email, and internal/external messaging systems in a timely fashion.

• Complete all assigned trainings in the Firm's Learning Management System (LMS) promptly.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-3 years of experience in a data entry or legal assistant position.

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.

• Familiarity with working in a technology-driven setting.

• Proficient in accurate data entry.

• Strong capability to follow basic instructions, job aids, and procedures.

• Ability to comply with firm policies and apply policy requirements while processing assigned tasks.

• Excellent time-management skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as required.

• Dedication to delivering exceptional, responsive, and timely service.

• Highly adept in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and technologically savvy.
