Legal Assistant, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver administrative and case support services to personal injury law firms and legal professionals.

• Aid attorneys, paralegals, and case managers in managing daily case administration tasks.

• Ensure electronic case files are accurate and well-organized.

• Review, organize, and upload client documents, including medical records, billing statements, and other relevant case materials.

• Monitor outstanding record requests and follow up with medical providers, insurance companies, and other relevant parties.

• Assist in the preparation of case summaries, chronologies, and supporting documentation.

• Oversee calendars, appointments, deadlines, and task assignments.

• Arrange client meetings, consultations, and case-related appointments.

• Facilitate communication among clients, law firms, medical providers, and insurance representatives.

• Keep track of email correspondence and ensure timely follow-up on pending issues.

• Draft, proofread, edit, and format correspondence and legal documents.

• Prepare letters, forms, requests, and other communications related to cases.

• Communicate professionally with clients in both English and Spanish.

• Foster positive client relationships through timely and courteous interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Spanish (both written and verbal).

• At least 1 year of experience in a legal, administrative, case management, or professional support capacity.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accountability.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to precision.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.

• Previous experience in a personal injury law firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with legal case management systems such as Filevine, CasePeer, Litify, Clio, Needles, or similar platforms is preferred.
