Legal Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Creating a variety of documents and agreements (Services, Software development, Software license) - predominantly in English (99%) and occasionally in Ukrainian (1%)

• Analyzing contracts and summarizing obligations while evaluating associated risks

• Negotiating, modifying contracts, and facilitating their execution

• Performing due diligence on existing documents to ensure the company meets all obligations

• Drafting legal opinions based on legislative research to support business needs

• Assisting with corporate procedures (registrations, amendments) both in Ukraine and internationally, though infrequently

• Verifying that all our companies adhere to local laws

• Supporting the business development team in participating in RFPs

• Aiding the sales team in the onboarding and due diligence processes with our suppliers

• Ensuring IP Protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced legal education

• Proficient in English, including legal writing and negotiation skills

• Over 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the IT sector

• Familiarity with EU and US legal systems

• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiations

• Expertise in intellectual property, including software and new-product licensing agreements

• Experience with SaaS, cloud solutions, and website compliance

• Knowledge of security, privacy, KYC, and related compliance issues

• Proficient in preparing legal opinions and conducting legal research

• Experience in supporting RFPs and customer due diligence efforts.
