This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• The Legal Administrative Assistant will aid the company by delivering daily administrative and paralegal-style support across a range of high-volume legal matters, especially in insolvency and winding-up processes.
• Assist with legal correspondence, document preparation, court filing assistance, matter administration, workflow coordination, and general support for the legal team, while adhering to established internal protocols and ensuring strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Draft standard legal correspondence, notices, and letters utilizing templates and precedents.
• Bundle, collate, paginate, and arrange legal documents for court submissions and client communications.
• Distribute documents and correspondence to clients, courts, and other relevant parties as necessary.
• Manage matter files, ensuring documents are saved, named, and filed accurately.
• Assist with invoice processing, payment coordination, and basic financial administration related to matters.
• Support the management of workflows and processes throughout various stages of legal matters.
• Maintain precise records and ensure adherence to internal procedures, timelines, and deadlines.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the legal team as needed.
• Operate within established systems and procedures while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform other duties at the position level as they arise.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in legal administration, paralegal support, professional services administration, or a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with a law firm environment, particularly in insolvency, recoveries, litigation, or high-volume legal matters, is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow structured processes.
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, filing, and document management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems, with the capability to quickly learn legal practice software.
• Ability to consistently and accurately manage repetitive process-driven tasks with care.
• A positive and proactive demeanor with a strong desire to learn and develop within the role.
• Dependable, consistent, and genuinely interested in establishing a long-term position within the firm.
• Highly organized and process-oriented.
• Calm, methodical, and reliable under pressure.
• Willingness to accept guidance and work within established systems and procedures.
