This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver advanced Tier II help desk assistance for the NIH Learning Management System (LMS)
• Hold primary responsibility for the deployment of the HHS LMS throughout NIH
• Offer consultation services to end-users and system administrators
• Support the NIH community to enhance their engagement with the LMS
• Provide expert advice, guidance, and technical assessment for online training content within the LMS
• Train and inform Tier 1 Help Desk agents
• Monitor and analyze ticket trends and patterns to identify potential issues
• Conduct system audits to ensure data integrity
• Triage system-related issues and escalate to Tier 3 support when necessary
• Recognize opportunities for system improvements
• Facilitate the migration of historical/external data to the LMS
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and system documentation
• Advocate for the LMS within the NIH community
• Proven experience with learning management systems utilized as enterprise tools
• Demonstrated experience with significant IT system implementations and supporting end-users
• Background in Help Desk support
• Experience in maintaining user documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Familiarity with supporting system interfaces
• Experience in data migration between systems, ensuring quality of migration, including acceptance testing
• Knowledge of SCORM standards and Section 508 compliance
• Experience in delivering system training (e.g., instructor-led, webinar-based, small group demonstrations, or one-on-one consultations)
• Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools for training, communication, and customer service
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service abilities
• Must be a US Citizen
• Technical and functional support for the LMS
• Assistance with the system migration project
