Learning Experience Designer II – K-12 Reading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilizes relevant teaching experience and knowledge of learning sciences, pedagogy, and instructional design.

• Creates digital-first solutions addressing specific market challenges.

• Collaborates as part of a dynamic agile scrum team.

• Defines the complete user journey for all digital experiences.

• Develops and modifies content and metadata to enhance a research-based experience.

• Acts as a developer within a scrum team tasked with addressing teaching and learning challenges.

• Produces instructionally sound content that provides value to customers.

• Champions user research to guide decision-making.

• Leverages insights from data to suggest solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

• 3-4 years of experience in instructional design for K-12 students or a mix of K-12 instructional design and teaching.

• Proficiency in K-12 Reading instruction.

• K-12 teaching experience is preferred.

• Experience in designing content for biliteracy instruction (Spanish/English) and multilingual education is preferred.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Background in working on agile scrum teams and familiarity with JIRA is preferred.

• Experience with content management systems is preferred.

• Ability to use data analysis and interpretation to inform solutions for market issues is preferred.

• Experience in creating and utilizing metadata is preferred.
