Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and prototype AI applications for partner organizations.

• Collaborate with educators to co-design AI tools.

• Transition between partner work and special projects as needed.

• Facilitate design sprints and build sessions.

• Guide educators throughout the building process.

• Challenge the limits of what can be achieved on the platform.

• Conduct office hours and provide open build time.

• Assist in student-facing AI development initiatives.

• Relay field insights back to the Playlab team.

• Experience in K-12 classrooms and a solid understanding of educators' challenges.

• A builder mindset with a passion for tinkering and prototyping.

• Enthusiastic about coaching and mentoring others.

• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies or rapid prototyping techniques.

• Strong grasp of prompting techniques and large language models (LLMs).

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools effectively.

• Capable of navigating through ambiguity.

• Exceptional at building relationships.

• Committed to equity and access in education.

• Open to travel for in-person engagements.
