Learning Business Partner – Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between Assurance and the Learning, Development, and Engagement team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of learning initiatives with business goals.

• Serve as a strategic ally to business leaders by proactively identifying skill gaps and proposing forward-thinking learning strategies based on both internal and external trends.

• Keep track of external trends in the accounting field, Assurance standards, and the regulatory landscape, translating insights into learning priorities and program recommendations.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that learning strategies align with both immediate and long-term business objectives.

• Oversee the strategic management of learning solutions, delegating development and delivery as necessary.

• Provide governance and direction for onboarding and core curriculum programs.

• Collaborate with our Learning Content Strategist and the broader L&D Team to develop engaging learning materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and interactive exercises.

• Facilitate onboarding for experienced hires, including technical and software training.

• Conduct technical training sessions, adapting content and delivery methods to effectively engage learners of various experience levels, from A1s to Partners.

• Coordinate CPE activities between the department and L&D to ensure compliance with professional development requirements.

• Design, develop, and support the delivery of comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to departmental needs for new hires.

• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, making data-driven enhancements as necessary.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the department.

• Collaborate with global offices to provide comparable live training sessions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Senior Manager of Learning, Development & Engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area (e.g., Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field).

• At least 5-7 years of experience in Assurance, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

• A valid CPA license is required.

• Preferred experience in learning strategy, talent development, or L&D partnership roles.

• Familiarity with CPE requirements and coordination is advantageous.

• Experience in facilitating learning experiences and applying adult learning principles to create engaging, retention-focused content.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

• Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess learning needs and evaluate program effectiveness.

• Ability to interpret industry, regulatory, and business trends, translating them into actionable learning strategies.

• Professionalism, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
