Leadership Development Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, including HR, L&D, Talent, and business leaders, to identify leadership capability gaps and organizational requirements.

• Convert business challenges and strategic objectives into actionable leadership development strategies and solutions.

• Act as a subject matter expert to influence program direction, learning outcomes, and experiential design.

• Conduct leadership workshops, cohort experiences, and executive-level sessions as necessary.

• Provide or assist with individual and group coaching engagements that align with program objectives.

• Implement best practices across leadership capability areas, such as: Leading through change and ambiguity, Strategic thinking and decision-making, Coaching, feedback, and people development, Executive presence, influence, and communication.

• Work closely with instructional designers to ensure that content is pedagogically sound, experience-based, and rooted in real business contexts.

• Counsel clients on measurement strategies linked to leadership effectiveness and business impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in leadership development, talent development, or organizational development.

• Demonstrated experience working directly with leaders at mid-level, senior, and executive tiers.

• Strong skills in facilitation and/or executive coaching.

• Proven ability to apply leadership frameworks in practical organizational settings (beyond academic models).

• Comfortable in client-facing, project-based, or advisory capacities.

• Experience in consulting or professional services environments (preferred).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ICF, Korn Ferry, Center for Creative Leadership, or similar) (preferred).

• Background in supporting organizations in sectors such as finance, healthcare, or technology (preferred).
