This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the scheduling of Field Engineers and Contractor personnel for customer outages and projects.
• Implement field resource deployment strategies to achieve customer and business objectives.
• Collaborate with customer service managers for issue escalation.
• Create long-term forecasts for regional resource requirements.
• Develop and implement both short-term and long-term resource plans, including recruitment, skill evaluations, and advanced training initiatives.
• Manage scheduling processes in P6 software to coordinate, monitor, and analyze workforce allocation for customer projects and outages.
• Maintain databases that track customer in-processing and Personnel History Questionnaire statuses for Field Service employees.
• Coordinate with customers and Project Managers to revise Project Welcome Packages to include site-specific travel details.
• Assist the staffing and training team in fulfilling deliverables through data entry and analysis using the Nuclear Staffing Database.
• Work with Project Managers and Contractor Service Managers to update project staffing needs.
• Support problem identification, issue escalation, and resolution efforts.
• Aid the Staffing Manager, Demand Planner, and Supply Planner in long-term staffing forecasts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and act as the liaison between customers and GE.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in project scheduling (industrial, capital, installation, or production).
• A minimum of 3 years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Availability to work after hours and on weekends during peak business periods.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 10% to customer locations or San Jose Training Facilities.
• Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access to Nuclear Plants.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with P6 Primavera or similar scheduling software.
• Experience with Tableau reporting system or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Smartsheet and MS Teams collaboration software.
• Strong relationship-building skills with remote colleagues.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Competence in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
